Caching in J2EE

My friend and former colleague, Kresten Krab Thorup, taught a class on Design and Implementation of Application Servers (DIAS) during 2nd quarter of fall 2004. He invited me to give a talk on introducing caching at the application level in J2EE. It was quite fun, and a great experience to be back at my old university this time on the other side of the table.
